Our hosts were very friendly and gave excellent advice on local things to do. The host allowed us to partially charge our electric car free of charge which was very generous. He also brought us tomatoes and freshly laid eggs from his farm. The pool was great and well maintained. The apartment was relatively small (no more than 35m2) and crammed with dated furniture, the seals in the shower cabin were broken and the toilet did not flush properly. The bedroom backs onto a camping site which can get noisy at weekends. The apartment is an out-house on the owners compound, the basement is used by family members as a guest apartment. The compound has several houses for the 3 generations of the owners extended family. The pool is used communally by all the extended family members and friends. The poolside is often used as a gathering place for the owner, his extended family and their guests. The pool can be seen as an intensely used family pool to which guests are given access between 9:00 and 19:00 daily. The wifi is really poor, it only usable between midnight and the early hours of the morning. Irrespective we were happy to be able to book an apartment in Tuscany at really short notice.

We had a great time in this house, it is private and quiet, surrounded by country side. There are many nice places in the area to go to the beach and restaurants to enjoy Italian delicacies. The hosts were very helpful, their houses are in the same property and the pool is shared with their family, it was easy to see them for every eventuality. It is a great place to enjoy a bit of Tuscany!
