We stayed at Roger's place for a month and it was perfect. It's in a quiet, lush neighborhood with friendly folks, a never-crowded pool, and a beautiful park just a few steps away. We were a short drive to everywhere we wanted to explore in Raleigh for the month and were walkable to a major shopping area with grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. The apartment was a fine size for the 2 of us working from 'home' - the internet was top-speed, and Roger even provided a sit/stand desk and office chair for the duration of our stay. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need (including an amazing Margaritaville blender for whipping up frozen drinks to take to the pool). Roger was friendly, quick to respond, and flexible on check-in.

What a gem! This airbnb is exactly as described in the listing and photos. It's nestled right next to Fred Fletcher Park - truly, just across the street from it, which makes for the best location. We took many morning and afternoon walks along the trail in the park, or wandered off toward Five Points (~.8 mi away), Glenwood South (starts ~.4 away), Downtown (~1 mile away) or Village District (~.5 mi away) to do shopping, check out a new restaurant, or just walk around. You can't beat this location with having 4 different walkable neighborhoods nearby. The apartment itself felt very safe, tucked in a quiet condo community full of kind people and some lovely neighborhood dogs and cats. The hosts were super responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns we had - they were excellent for the 2 months we stayed here. They provided us with tons of sheets, towels, laundry detergent, cleaning products, etc to make ourselves at home during our long stay as well.

Safe neighborhood, large apt, awesome balcony. Make sure you read Roger's check-in instructions VERY carefully. The buildings all have a diff # but they're connected, so it's really easy to walk to the wrong apt (and if you have food delivery it's an issue for them to find). Walkable to some restaurants and the grocery store (.8 mi one way). I had an issue with the hot water and a bug issue but Roger responded right away and followed up until both were resolved. There's a park right across the street which was great. VERY quiet neighborhood. Plenty of laundry soap for you to use. The dishwasher needs a light switch to be flicked on to work which I didn't figure out until 2 weeks in but there's plenty of DW pods and other kitchen supplies- hand soap, trash bags, etc.
