We had a delightful stay at St. Pirans Lodge, nestled in the peaceful countryside of Cornwall. The lodge is beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we could possibly need, making it a perfect retreat for our family. The quiet surroundings and proximity to nature were exactly what we were looking for. Our hosts, John and Penny, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A welcoming card was waiting for us in the lodge, and they thoughtfully provided towels and biscuits for our dog, as well as some essentials like milk. The lodge was immaculate and truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you for a memorable experience – we highly recommend this wonderful place and hope to return soon!

Absolutely loved our stay at this perfect, peaceful retreat! The location strikes a perfect balance - serene enough to unwind, yet fairly close to popular tourist spots. Our evening strolls to the deer park lodges for a pint were a delightful highlight. Highly recommend for anyone seeking relaxation with a touch of adventure!

A much needed last minute weekend away which was perfect for some peaceful rest. We loved being able to take our dog who loved the open space and we felt at ease knowing he was safe. The outdoor seating area was appreciated along with the beautiful views. The place was a little difficult to find but that may have been because we arrived when it was dark. The detailed instructions would be much easier to follow in daylight. The welcome scones were delicious - would love the recipe!

We loved our time at John and Penny's place. Dog was totally happy and he can go off his food when we go away, he ate all his meals and he and we absolutely loved the enclosed, dog safe garden - our main reason for booking! The place is well built and insulated as we were never cold, unlike other places we have stayed in Cornwall at this time of year! It was so lovely to find a prosecco cork, dishwasher tablet, dust pan and brush and even some showering things which we didn't use, but great they were there, under the bathroom cupboard! It was odd there is hardly any wardrobe hanging space, literally one small shallow cupboard per bedroom and lots of small drawers. We didn't mind but some might. Itd be nice to be able to draw a curtain/blind over the large bifold doors at night this time of year. We got used to it though and lovely in daylight! Will definitely be back, we knocked on their door on our way out and Penny was lovely-great to meet you Penny, thanks and Merry Christmas! xx
