CONCERNS: 1. Bumpy rocky muddy road 1.5 miles off main highway. 2. Smaller than advertised, only 1 room 15x15=225 sq ft, not 420 sq ft as advertised. Second room used for storage, full of mice droppings. 3. Loud barking dogs and roosters 24/7.

I stayed here for a month and I just loved it. A cheerful, bright, and comfortable space in the heart of a beautiful desert valley with some quirky little ranches nearby and amazing wildlife. Rabbits and a road runner visited regularly, and I even saw a bobcat from the window! I loved watching dawn arrive from the view in bed, and sitting outside and enjoying the peacefulness. Ryan is super friendly with lots of great info about the area. I drive a subcompact and using it on the dirt road regularly was fine. I also work remotely and the internet was great. A lovely, cozy spot. I hope to come back!

We stayed here for a little over two months while adjusting to move to the Yucca Valley area. Ryan’s place was perfect and we felt right at home. He was very responsive and made adjustments to any request or questions we had. Overall a great experience.

LOVED this place. Getting to watch the wildlife while I worked and the massive night sky were so peaceful. And Ryan was a great host. Never intrusive and always available and helpful when I had questions.

The location is phenomenal. The views are extraordinary. I came here to relax and get rid of some stress. This was the right place. The place is small but not at all cluttered. Ryan has just the right furnishings and elements to make the place functional. He even brought out a desk & chair to create a work space for me. While working remotely, anytime I felt stressed, I glanced outside the window, took a deep breath and done. I spent lots of time sitting outside, staring at the scenery, the jackrabbits, roadrunners, chipmunks, squirrels and quail that are always visiting. Man, this is the place. Sadly, the short rocky road cracked my wheel. Other than that, it was an incredible stay. Oh!! The starry night sky and the howls of the local coyotes are for sure a big plus. Love this place. Thank you Ryan!!!
