Es war super schön und genial, alles perfekt. Das Haus genau nach unserem Geschmack, die Umgebung umwerfend, die Insel phantastisch. Was wollen wir mehr? Absolut zu empfehlen.

Absolutely loved our days in beautiful Æro. The houses was just perfect, right next to some beautiful cliff top walks and fun cycles around the area. Dog was in heaven running along the Stoney beach at the bottom of the cliff. Would love to come back again.

Wir haben unsere Zeit auf Aero sehr genossen. Louises Haus ist ein großzügiges, charmant eingerichtetes Refugium, umgeben von einem wunderbaren Garten und viel Natur. Gleich hinter dem Haus führt ein Pfad zur Steilküste, von der aus sich ein fantastischer Blick auf die Ostsee und das Naturschutzgebiet Vorderup Klint bietet. Louise hatte das Haus vor unserer Ankunft mit frischen Blumen dekoriert, sodass wir uns von Anfang an willkommen und wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Der Garten präsentierte sich in spätsommerlicher Pracht mit reifen Apfelbäumen und Pflaumen, in Louises kleinem Gewächshaus wuchsen Trauben und Tomaten. Es gibt so viele schöne Ecken in Haus und Garten, dass man seinen Urlaub allein damit verbringen könnte, dort zu sitzen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Kommunikation mit Louise war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich - und wir träumen schon jetzt davon, bald wieder zurück zu kommen nach Aero - und in Louises wunderbares Sommerhaus.

This location was really lovely! We had a mix of weather during the week we were there and appreciated that the property had a great spot to hang out no matter what the weather was. Only thing I would note is that the trip down to the beach was a bit more than we planned for.Some parts are quite steep or with thick vegetation, but definitely worth it! Plan ahead for sturdy shoes to wear during the trek down, water shoes for the rocks as you get into the water, and bring portable chairs, a light cooler, bags for carrying things down, etc. The house and property were so nice that we really didn't want to leave, but we did bike to Ærøskøbing one evening for dinner. The bike ride was really nice and quite easy --- can definitely suggest making time for a meal at Kraut og Koalo. Husband is German, wife is Australian, and the food is AMAZING.
