Our host and hostess were friendly and responsive before and during our stay. They were extremely helpful, and gave us a list of local places we might want to visit, including grocery stores and restaurants, and recreational opportunities. The house was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with items for cooking and eating, providing salt, pepper, spices and oil. The home and property are dog-friendly. A washer and drier are available, including detergent. The property is centrally located along the Avenue of the Giants.

Very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful view of srrounding redwoods with unlimited hiking trails. Lawrence left lots of info about the surrounding nature trails, restaurants, nearest hospitals & veterinarians (for those who travel with animals). Very helpful information! Good size kitchen with all the amenities and bathroom. He was very thoughtful and helpful with extra cozy blankets and pillows if we needed them. We enjoyed our stay!

Very responsive and generous hosts. Went out of their way to arrange for us to charge our electric car. Their place is decorated with their own original artwork including fabric art which was very appealing. Kitchen was well outfitted and easy to use, we cooked a couple of meals. Right off Highway 101, easy access to the middle of Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Overall great place to stay.

We loved Lawrence's place. The house had a great peaceful feeling and was very clean. There was everything we needed. The house is a spacious and bright place-I am not sure that's evident from the photos. Lawrence went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable, even helping to build us a fire one evening. There were four of us and we all slept comfortably. Location-wise, it was next door to all our favorite groves in Humboldt State Park. It was raining most of the weekend and I loved seeing the forest so sparkling and wet.

Awesome place, super cool guy, very accomadating, well equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, and very near avenue of the giants
