We stayed in Luis’s lovely villa for over 3 weeks with an infant (so we were a little more demanding than usual) and loved everything about the place. It’s spacious, light, has all you need for comfortable family holidays. Luis is a really nice host and there were no problems with the check in or check out. Lajares is a really cute village with one of the best cafes El Arco or bakeries Paneteca just a short walk from the villa. Also the location is convenient as it is just a short drive to Corralejo or El Cotillo. Overall we highly recommend Luis’s place and will definitely come back.

Frist of all we had a great time on Fuerteventura from December till January which is the busy season there - so finding a place for 5 adults and 1 child is not easy. Luckily Luis place was available. The reviews made before are accurate. The host is helpful and the place looks like on the photos -but people have to keep in mind that it’s quite outside of Lajares (main road) and the house itself is not very good equipped if you stay with many people (we needed to buy additional wine glasses, there were no champagne glasses, space to sit is limited and there is no real outside area to hang out- only two outside sunbeds, no barbecue.) Unfortunately it wasn’t really clean and the first week we had no dish washer. We managed everything but we recommend to book much ahead in this area to find a place worth a lot of money.

Luis is a nice and helpful host. Nevertheless after all those great recommendations we were quite disappointed. Good things first: Lajares is a great place, and the villa is located in a quiet, relaxing part of Lajares. The architecture of the house is beautiful. Luis tried to be as helpful as possible, and even compensated our costs for renting a co-working space when the Wi-Fi was down for around 10days. But: the interior is not matching the ambience. Nothing fits together. A broken lamp in the living room, no sun-lounger cushions, the Wi-Fi is awful (we needed to work), and the kitchen compartments were really dirty. The garden is so big but huge areas are just unused. In one room rain was tripping trough the ceiling, and from time to time an awful smell came from the smaller bathroom.
