If you are on the fence about staying with Jo and Kevin let this be your sign to just book now! Going into this stay I knew their space would be cool, but after learning about the history of the property and the effort to make this home I now know this is probably the only place like this in the world. Jo and Kevin are incredibly unique, driven people. It was fun getting to know them. Kevin took us for a ride in an awesome truck he has, and they gave us a tour of the mountain. We walked around the property for probably 4 hours just looking at their collection of cars and other artifacts. We even spotted a baby horned lizard! Jo offered us snacks and even made us breakfast, but definitely bring food because it's quite the drive to access. I drove my Mazda 3 which has low clearance and it was fine, but Jo will offer to pick you up if you aren't comfortable driving the road. Gosh, so many things to say! I would definitely bring friends here.

To me, it was more than what I expected. My family and I made some of the best memories of our lives. More than extraordinary so much fun so much to do And Jo was so helpful and accommodating. We definitely will be back.

If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind adventure inside an eclectically-decorated rock, in a remote desert, surrounded by fascinating shells of old automobiles to explore, this place is for you. The hosts, Jo and Kevin, were very kind and hospitable - Jo even made us waffles for breakfast. I'd highly recommend a high-clearance vehicle to access the property safely.
