Thank you to Will & Sophie for a wonderful stay at the Hutts Cottage. Beginning with the superb detailed instruction booklet & the special welcome gestures with handwritten note, fresh eggs, wine & vase of fresh gorgeous tulips, it was a perfect stay for me & relatives visiting from London. The cottage was spacious, immaculately clean, with a well equipped kitchen, large bathroom with a bath & shower (toiletries provided), downstair WC, washer/dryer, large rooms comfortable king sized beds & stunning views of the Gardens. It is attached to the main house, but has private access down steps & was very quiet. Access to the beautiful gardens out of visiting hours was a bonus. The Himalayan Garden Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Magnolias & the Meconopsis blue Poppies were in bloom & the Sculptures, pagoda, huts, lake & lovely walks are stunning & glorious weather this week, after months of gales & rain was icing on the cake! We are looking forward to returning to explore the gardens again.

Fabulous location, beautiful property, super clean with everything supplied for a short break. We had a lovely couple of days away with great recommendations for pub lunches and dinner, but also the opportunity to relax in wonderful gardens and cosy night in with ability to have dinner at home, with a fire and a film. We had a wonderful time at The Hutts Cottage. We cannot fault the accommodation in any way - everything was perfect! The location was very special and it was lovely to draw back the curtains in the morning and savour the beautiful views over the gardens. We spent a day with friends in York - easily accessible via train from Thirsk (with our dog) and enjoyed a walk around Hackfall wood, followed by lunch in the Bruce Arms at West Tanfield. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a fantastic stay. The property is entirely as described and the location is wonderful. The decor, furnishings, condition and cleanliness of the cottage is top notch. The open access to the beautiful Himalayan gardens and park is the icing on the cake ! We shall definitely return.

Second stay at The Hutts Cottage, we couldn't wait to return! Wonderful to see the magnificent gardens at a different time of the year. The perfect place to be based when we visit beautiful North Yorkshire.
