Cute place to stay close to the Sand Dunes. The breakfast burritos were nice to have given there isn't much close by for the morning. Bathrooms were clean

LOVED staying at Rustic Rook! The tent looked just like the photos, cute and well equipped for a night of “glamping”. Everyone we encountered at the site was so friendly, we even got a free show from a musician staying there at the nightly campfire. Getting the wood burning stove going was a simple process, helped warm up the tent a bit too. The outdoor bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Finally the burritos and coffee in the morning were delicious! We’ll absolutely be back for a longer stay next time we’re in CO!

Overall we had a nice stay. The views and location were excellent. Bathrooms were very clean and fully stocked with necessities although they were further away from our tent than we expected. Also, there are many rows of tents so most of them have more limited views than what we expected from the photos. It was a fun experience for us as we were there for one night to visit the Great Sand Dunes. The bathrooms are busy in the mornings. It may be advisable to shower in the afternoon to beat the morning rush.

Great location and amenities. Easy check in process. Bed was comfortable, shower/toilet facilities were good. Value for money is on the pricey side. Tent structure for winds is not ideal considering the location is a windy area. Even with ear plugs the sound of our tent and others flapping and squeaking in the wind was too loud to sleep soundly.
