因为没有钥匙，房东远程操控把门打开了。房子布置很美很西部，应该很多美国人会喜欢，推开门就是山，有美丽的落日和自然景观，作为亚洲人，我们还是有点担忧安全性，毕竟四周都没有房子，还有一个点就是床比较旧，毯子没有套被单，房间有很大的味道，不知道是空气清醒剂还是什么，让人有点不适，因为朋友邀请，我们短暂停留了两个小时就前往拉斯维加斯了。

Haley’s little hideaway in Oatman is an idyllic spot. Surrounded by desert mountains, the flora and fauna are unbelievably beautiful. You are moments from town. The burros roam free and alfalfa feed is for sale at every stall. Had a cold beverage at the Oatman Hotel bar and took insta worthy photos up and down the Main Street. Haley and Carole were always available to answer questions and were friendly. To note: Make sure to bring your own groceries before you arrive to town-microwaveable or cold options only.

We stayed 2 nights at the Oatman rock house.On first day there we had just got home from dinner and were inside looking out the windows and to our surprise donkeys were walking right by the bedroom window. Earlier we had went to town to buy some donkey food. So we go outside to feed them they stayed awhile then watched them go up the hill for the night. In the mornings/evenings it was nice to sit outside and have coffee and look at the beautiful views and listen to the birds.

This is an incredibly unique opportunity to enjoy what Oatman offers and the beauty of the desert. It offers peace and calm, gorgeous night skies, and a place to quiet your mind. Or a great place to play in the desert if that's what you choose. The burros came right up to the house and were so much fun to watch! The food in town was great, the shops are friendly and fun.

The Rockhouse was perfectly situated between 2 destinations of our roadtrip, but could’ve been a destination all by itself. The house itself and the location are just stunning and perfectly fitted our roadtrip themed vacation through the southwest. Haley was pro-active in sharing information and responded very quickly.
