We had fantastic views overlooking the river, with The Globe Theatre and Tate Modern directly opposite. Our room (we had the family accessible room on 4th floor) was spacious and clean with everything you’d need, including a little kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine! The whole building is decorated in minimalist, brutalist style so it is very simple and definitely not plush! But we liked its simplicity. Would have been lovely if the cafe had stayed open later and it looks like there might be a bar or restaurant being fitted at the moment (?) which would also be amazing!

We can’t wait to stay here in our next London trip. Clean, comfortable bed, pillows, linen. Loved the bathroom products too. Enjoyed having a river view and coffee in the am. Close to the millennium bridge and start Paul’s cathedral. Friendly staff and good restaurant.

Staff were the friendliest we have encountered during our holiday. Location is fabulous and the restaurant had delicious food. Would definitely stay here again
