We had a great trip to Dalkey Village which I know very well and have family nearby. This is a great location to have near trains, shops and restaurants with plenty to do locally with kids. The house is very cosy and warm Bit hard sometimes to get the internet working on the TV. But apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely use again and recommend to others. Denis was super swift to respond to any queries

We loved staying in Denis’ home. The location was absolutely perfect. The town of Dalkey was right outside our front door. We had easy access to all locations using the Dart station which is right across the street. When we were driving, all major roads were close by. The home itself is beautiful, especially the garden and patio. Barbara and Denis were very accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. We highly recommend this home and would love to return for an even longer visit next time.

Beautiful home, perfect for our group of 6 adults. Wonderful outdoor dining area and garden for outdoor entertaining. The home had everything needed to make our stay special, not forgetting that fabulous TV-perfect of Wimbledon! Communication was great and very accommodating with checkin etc. Great location right in the heart of Dalkey,. We enjoyed exploring the area and local restaurants. Hope to be back soon.

We have nothing but praise for this property and the hosts. From the way we were welcomed to its fabulous location and the set up of the property itself. There was plenty of room for our adult family of seven to stay and not be on each other's toes. The house is as equipped as you could wish it to be, everything you need to make your stay easy. The outdoor space -- calm, quiet and charming -- was the icing on the cake. The location of this property is amazing, the charming town of Dalkey provides wonderful places to eat and drink, the proximity of the Dart station allowed us to whiz in and out of Dublin. And perfectly positioned for day trips investigating the south and southeast. We felt our money was very well spent staying here, it was a wonderful retreat to return to after days of exploring (and the co-host, Barbara, went above and beyond returning an item we inadvertently left at the house), we recommend it without hesitation.
