The view and garden of this cottage were unbelievable. As a couple that brought our Labrador, the garden is ideal. There are so many paths and smells in an enclosed space, we couldn’t have asked for more. Watching the sunset over the bay from the bench in the garden was such a highlight of our trip.

Engela was friendly and communicative and contacted us beforehand to make sure we knew where we were going and give us some useful info re local shops and refuelling. You will be sent clear instructions - make sure you read and follow them and don't just wing it with a postcode like we did. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow unless you're an impatient millennial like us! The cottage is exactly like the photos with a cosy fireplace behind the electric fire. Engela provides lots of wood, kindling & paper and even left a bottle of wine and chocolates which was much appreciated after the long drive. We had a dog with us and if you walk through the trees for a minute or two you reach a gorgeous little bench which looks over the bay below and the pup can run for miles. Engela also helpfully put a cot up for us in the main bedroom which was super helpful and the baby miraculously slept in which never happens! Thank you for a lovely stay! The surrounds are beautiful, the house is lovely, and it's on Skye so there is plenty to do! Engela gave us excellent advice and instructions regarding getting there and resupplying (food, fuel etc). We felt right at home and very comfortable. Would highly recommend a week staying here for those travelling with a car.
