Elegant 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment in a serene natural lakeside setting on an airstrip, perfectly situated for aurora viewing from the house or the front patio. We’re 1.6 miles from the iconic Santa Claus House & North Pole amenities, restaurants, & shops including hardware, auto parts & groceries. Only 15 minutes to Eielson AFB & Ft Wainwright, we are an ideal location for work, relaxation, adventure or all three! In-unit laundry. This airplane hangar apartment offers an authentic Alaskan experience without roughing it. Located in the heart of North Pole, it is enveloped in nature as well as set up perfectly for Aurora viewing. We have recently seen moose, lynx, fox, and families of migrating swans on the lake! The master bedroom is outfitted with all the comforts of home, including a plush king bed with classic Pendleton bedding, new smart TV, ceiling fan, portable standing fan, and room darkening shades. The open floor plan living room/kitchen area features a cozy sectional fold-out couch with throw pillows and blankets and smart TV for nights at home. For added convenience, the bathroom is located between the master bedroom and the living/kitchen area, and offers a bonus walk-in closet and laundry room. Large windows in all areas allow you to immerse yourself in the natural surroundings. This authentic Alaskan venue is perfect for your trip of a lifetime.

Jessica made our stay in Alaska amazing. she was consistently giving me updates on websites to look at for the best possible times and conditions to see the northern lights. She supplied toys, bedding, and even a smaller sized table for my kids to be able to comfortably eat at. She gave amazing recommendations for things to do during the day and at night. Truly a seamless stay and am amazing location. the lake was still frozen over and I dug a huge hole down to the ice and laid down in it with my kids and it was so fun. Jessica also came out with her dogs and let my babies into one of the planes on the property. We saw multiple small planes take off and land and it was so cool. We also were able to see the northern lights from our windows :)
Jess was wonderful! So responsive and helpful with everything from recommendations for tours to alerting us about the Aurora forecast. The place is beautiful, high end, clean, and oh so cozy. Hope to visit again during summer months!
Most amazing experience my husband and I ever had! So mystical and magical and Jessica is a treasure! She had so many recommendations and was so responsive! This is a must do kind of place!

Jessica’s place was perfect. Great location with beautiful scenery. Spotless clean. A bonus was seeing the northern lights from the back porch and through the bedroom window in comfort.

This Bnb is Air accessible for those with their own planes. You can fly in on wheels, skis or floats to our 2500 foot float pond or 2500 foot gravel runway: Airway Field (5AK3). Please call ahead for local aviation information. If you are arriving by car, 4-wheel or all-wheel drive is highly recommended during winter months.
