Bed bugs!!!! I spent one night there and got covered in bites!!!! I payed for 2 nights and I left after the first night

Would not rent again. Read first. The trouble began when I tried to message the host and let them know I owed them a pet fee. After messaging via Airbnb, I was forced to text her instead and let her know I owed her $100 for the pet deposit due to bringing four dogs and the price listed being $25 per pet. She told me I actually owed her $200. I explained I only owed what the site stated and she went down to $175. I told her I was uncomfortable and that this was shady. She allowed me to pay $130 when she responded days later if I paid immediately through PayPal instead of through Airbnb and I did because I was worried we would lose the house with no time to rent a new place. When we arrived I messaged asking where we should park as the listing showed a garage and a driveway that could hold a total of six cars. There was no garage and the driveway was taken up by the people living in the garage so we were forced to park on a very busy road. The listing showed two stoves/ovens, a pool table, a gas and a propane grill, towels, 2 coffee makers, 2 cable tvs and free wifi. None of this was in the home. When I messaged to ask about towels and the lack of pool table she said the towels were in the closet, which only had a bag of wet towels in it. The pool table had been broken by a prior guest and they never bothered to update the listing. She took so long to reply, my family was able to drive to a store, buy towels and head back before the owner told me she was sending a woman with towels. The woman who came to drop off the towels came into the home and saw my family hanging some streamers and putting tablecloths on the four tables and I got an aggressive message from the owner accusing me of throwing a party (which ruined the surprise but thats beside the point). My family had planned to surprise me with the decorations for my birthday. My birthday isn’t for a few weeks so this wasn’t planned by me at all. No guests came, they just wanted to make it look nice. I explained to the owner that It was just a family thing not a party and told her that with all the things missing from the listing I didn’t expect to hear from her again with any requests while i was enjoying my weekend. She responded that I could cancel and leave her house if I didn’t like it and find somewhere else to stay if it’s so easy. She said she hired other people to do this for her and she wasn't a maid. She then threatened to charge me extra for the “party”. I asked her how she would feel if she came to a house and all the things she expected weren’t there. She told me she would feel grateful to be able to stay in a house for so “cheap” and that I was “throwing a big party”. I then sent her a picture of the streamers and my family eating hot dogs at the table. Which of course included my grandparents and parents along with my adult sisters. A rager, clearly. After this last conversation, I did not contact the owner again because of the level of aggression with which she responded. I felt unsafe bringing anything else to her attention. The home was the dirtiest place I have ever slept. Well, what we could see of it was disgusting anyway because half of the lights In the home were missing or burnt out. A few of the ac vents dripped, including the one over my sisters bed which she got to wake up under because it was dripping on her body. Our feet were black after only thirty mins in the house and we all had to wash them with baby wipes before bed every night. There was particulates everywhere. I don’t know if it was food or dirt or what. The fridge was held shut by a metal latch and a plastic fork because it wouldn’t stay shut. It also was put on the day we arrived and was not cold. There were gnats and flies everywhere. There was garbage everywhere outside; cans, bottles, toys. When we went to pick up our pets poop we saw a rusted razor blade in the grass next to where they had gone to the bathroom. There were stains on my sisters comforter and a black sticky mark on mine. My grandparents (both older than 70) wrapped themselves in the towels they had to buy at night instead of using the filthy linens provided. My grandfather tried for three hours to get the “cable” to work and was never able to on any tv because they simply werent hooked up. There was no wifi as promised. Some plates had gone back into the cabinet dirty instead of being cleaned so we had to wash other guests dishes. We had one stove and one coffee maker instead of what was promised (2 each). There was no grill at all and we were forced to buy one because of the type of food we chose to bring with us. My grandmother tried to sweep up a little because it was so disgusting and sliced her hand open on the only broom available; one that had a jagged metal top because it was broken in half. This woman is scamming people with this house. We were scammed and Intimidated. We spent an additional $250+ to have the weekend we were initially promised and spent more than two hours driving up and down the island every time we realized something else was missing and has to be purchased. Leading up to the travel dates the host was very attentive to making sure everything was ready for our check in dates. However upon arrival, we lost communication with host. The code provided for the gate was incorrect and we had to park our cars outside the property on a busy road. Making it unsafe for us to unload our vehicles and for our children. Once we entered the property we realized how unclean it was and nothing similar to the picture provided. There is a cocaroach and dust problem. We went out of our way to buy cleaning supplies and still tried to make it work. But it was too much for us. To top it off we found a room with lots of weird things as if it was witchcraft paraphernalia. We found an article online proving this is a "haunted" house and it has been used for witchcraft in the past. Worst experience ever! After finally talking to the host, she agreed to fully return our money which we were happy for, but its been 2 weeks and i have not heard from her or the company.
