We were on an ambitious trip to Argentina with my 3 month old son and this was BY FAR the most baby-friendly place we stayed at. We were able to bring him with us for meals and just lay him next to us by the fireplace. He would stare at the fire and the staff was so loving and sweet toward him. Food was a highlight, and the fact that we were both able to enjoy delicious meals without having to wrangle a baby was just a top-tier experience. It was like being able to bring a baby to a Michelin star restaurant.

The place is fantastic, and as shown in the listing. The staff are proactive, incredibly helpful and made the experience, recommending the best treks and things to do even for a rainy day. Best of all was the food- the dinner setting is phenomenal. They turn on your room log fire whilst at dinner and leave you with hot water bottles, tea and chocolates before bed. The room could get cold but they’ve thought it through to make it extremely comfortable. Definitely one of the best and unique AirBnbs.

This is a special place. It is across the river separating it from El Chalten but very short drive. The property is spectacular with views of Fitz Roy and plenty of room to wander. There are a couple of hammock areas which are a great place to relax. We splurged for the upgraded tent with views of Fitz Roy. To wake up and be staring at Fitz Roy from your bed is something else. We opted for the 3 meal plan. Each dinner had a protein and vegetable option. The food was very good and plentiful. Lastly the staff could not have been more responsive and helpful. Every interaction was pleasant. We definitely felt the staff enjoyed working here which is always a nice vibe.

There are not enough superlatives to describe the people, the place, the food, the hospitality…EVERYTHING. This is the only place I will stay when I visit, and I’m telling everyone I know the exact same. THANK YOU ALL!

Your staff are what makes the stay at Chalten Camp incredible. I’d like to give a special mention to Balleria who was so kind, considerate, proactive and helpful to any request I could have asked for. The food is exceptional, compliments to the chef. I recommend anyone staying should opt for dinner at the camp each night to enjoy the truly private experience it is. I wish you, Nicholas and the team all the ongoing success with your business after a long covid period. Thank you so much!
