5 stars all around! My boyfriend, myself, and our dog stayed with Verona for 1 night on our East > West coast road trip. Beyond beautiful location and scenery. Verona is as hospitable and welcoming they come! Not to mention the inside of the home is immaculately clean and spotless. As a horse lover I adored all of Verona's equine decor! The bed was super comfortable and her toiletries smelled amazing too. Her horses are right on the property and her cat is just precious. Very kind neighbors, we felt extremely safe. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the upscale restaurant downtown: Skogen. This was our 2nd visit to Custer we just love the town and the beauty of Verona's place in the Blackhills is unmatched. We also made a stop at Windcaves National Park (29) mins away. We already can't wait for our next visit and hope to stay at Verona's again!

We had a great stay at Verona's place. She is very good at interacting with young kids which made our children feel almost like they were visiting one of their grandmothers that they only rarely get to visit since they don't live close to us. They enjoyed petting her horses and looking at the painted buffalos in town.

Verona was a lovely host! She communicated well and was very welcoming. Her upstairs Airbnb was so comfortable, clean, and cute with lots of little touches. We slept well and would definitely stay again.
