We really enjoyed this place! The location was perfect, especially if you’re trying to explore Bruges and Ghent. But where the home was located was in such a perfect area. Peace and quiet in the countryside! It’s great for a few days to getaway. Yes there’s a compost toilet and instructions how to use it! I know past reviews said there wasn’t, but we had no issues (instructions are in Dutch but nothing a quick g-translate can fix). I wish we had better weather because we would have taken full advantage of enjoying the outside furniture and fireplace since it was such a great plus to have! But overall, we had a great weekend here!

Nice, cozy area. Walking distance (20 min walk) to the nearest station, from which you can easily catch at train to Ghent (10 min), Brussels (50 min) or Bruges (30 min). The tiny home was well equipped, however, the door was very tight and we hard time locking it. Furthermore, be aware that the toilet is a compost toilet and not an ordinary toilet. All in all, a good experience, would recommend especially for a summer stay.

Das tiny Haus ist sehr süß und extrem ruhig gelegen. Das Restaurant hatte leider zu. Für unseren Familienbesuch hat es aber ideal gepasst. Leider ging das Internet nicht und es gab keine Infos zu der Kompostiertoilette. Auch wenn diese nicht komplex ist, ist es gut vorab zu wissen.

Sehr schönes Tiny House mit ruhiger ländlicher Lage! Der nächste Bahnhof ist ca. 1,6km entfernt, so dass man äußerst günstig (<25€, Hin&Rück, 2 Pers.) mit der Belgischen Bahn nach Gent (10min), Brüssel (ca. 1h), Antwerpen (ca. 1,5h) oder Richtung Meer reisen kann. Im benachbarten Festsaal können am Wochenende teilweise Feiern stattfinden. Dennoch ist man die meiste Zeit ungestört. Am Abend bietet sich ein gemütliches Lagerfeuer vor der Terrasse an. Der Gastgeber Stephen ist zudem immer gut erreichbar, sollte mal etwas fehlen. Das Tiny House ist gerade wegen dem geringen Platzangebots im Vergleich zu einer Wohnung auf jeden Fall eine Erfahrung wert! Hinweis: Bad mit Komposttoilette, Spülbecken für Geschirr im Freien hinter dem Haus.

This tiny house was perfect for two people who needed a place to relax with some privacy and silence to do some some serious writing. In our case there was almost no one around and we had the good fortune of silence and no disturbances. The host was easy going and let us be, check in and out was a breeze. The place was clean and more than adequate in it furnishings. The outside deck was nice and useful with a clear vista to the fields with some nice lights to boot. Just a few notes for future tenants, the toilet is a compost one (look it up) and there is practically no wifi (use your own data and your fine). And lastly, the host has a beautiful party hall with an excellent garden which can be rented with catering. It has a lot of good reviews and it will be a good place to choose. But i can imagine that when you stay at the lovely tiny house and there is a party going on in your backyard, you wanna go there and join in, because there will be no more writing or relaxing going on here.
