Incredibly warm welcome from John, who had already provided clear directions and check in info. We found it straight away! Delicious home made cookies awaited our arrival, along with a very helpful pint of milk. Beautiful spot, genuinely dog and family friendly with a very well kitted out kitchen. Great shower. Wonderfully detailed and thoughtful welcome pack containing every bit of local knowledge you could hope for. Such a peaceful location. We'll be back if John and Caroline will have us!

We had a lovely stay in the cottage which was warm and cosy. John made us feel very welcome and was a mine of useful information and very helpful to us. As we travelled during the recent flood John kept us up to date on the most accessible routes in and out. We’ll definitely look forward to a return visit to explore more of this area.
