A great place to stay to explore the area. Close to the town so convenient for shopping and eating but very spacious and peaceful with very easy parking. The property is very clean and well equipped- more crockery and cutlery etc than we have at home 😀 The town is lovely and great to wander around the local woods and parks - including Dinefwr. The walk across the river on the foot bridge is beautiful too.
Perfect location in Llandeilo. Stunning views inside and out, but so easy to walk to everything from there. The road it’s on is just next to the high street but is very quiet, and connects to the high street at various points, so feels like a real sanctuary. Inside, everything you could want (including great dishwasher which was extremely welcome) and high standards. Visited with 2 children and there is plenty of space for hanging out as a family, but also for them to get away, play games, enjoy etc while the adults get some peace and quiet! Loved the wood burning stove, which worked very well. We will definitely return, I know Llandeilo very well but there is always something new to explore, fantastic rural walks, castle, National Trust property, local artisans, the list goes on. What a great place to stay.
This is a great place to stay. The views from the dining room and master bedroom are amazing, you can get lost just watching the river in the armchair. The showers are powerful, the bathrooms are spacious, as are the bedrooms and the kitchen is perfect. We don’t use the livingroom at the front of the house but from what I saw, it looked really homely. All in all a really great place to stay - if I’m back that way again, I will be sure to book it. Had a lovely stay, such a lovely location,walking distance from the town and the house was cosy, welcoming and had everything we needed. Recommend taking bikes as it was lovely to bike ride around the local park and visit the castle. We stayed an extra night as we had such a lovely time and didn’t want to leave. Lovely hosts who catered to our needs of an earlier check in. Would return.
We had a great stay with our two dogs at Hilltop. The location was great for the town with the benefit of parking right outside. The house was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The shower we used in the downstairs was excellent. It was great having access to the garden and we really enjoyed our stay (despite the weather!)
