Bill and Elaine are beyond wonderful as hosts, and the perch of the home, with its panoramic views of the sea, and private beach will make you sad to ever have to leave. Some highlights: • Elaine's super-friendly help and recommendations helped us to focus our itinerary—with so much to do in this part of Greece, this was really helpful • Bill's warmth and humor. He was always accessible and brought us eggs from his chickens and fresh (delicious) oranges from his trees. He's so delightful and endearing, especially to our kids • The veranda is very peaceful—find a sunny spot to warm up or a shady spot to cool down, let the waves lapping the shore below lull you to sleep • The walk down, through caverns, to the beach below—you'll feel like discovered a hidden beach • Swimming in the warm waters, kayaking along the caves and cliffs up and down the coast • Sunrises So much to enjoy, and you'll feel like you're being hosted by old friends!

We had a wonderful few days at Bill's lovely clifftop house. The beach was so peaceful and beautiful with not a single sole to be seen. Bill was such a warm, generous and welcoming host and Elaine was a great 'remote tour guide', giving us all the local low down and checking in with us regularly to see that all okay. We all loved having the use of the kayaks

Wir (Familie mit zwei Teenagern) hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem Strandhaus von Bill. Die Lage ist traumhaft direkt am Wasser mit einem grandiosen Ausblick aufs Meer von der großen Terrasse aus. Die Bucht unterhalb des Hauses mit einem schönen Kiesstrand und glasklarem Wasser hatten wir den ganzen Aufenthalt für uns allein, da sie außer durch den Garten nur vom Wasser aus erreichbar ist. Es gibt dort auch 4 Kajaks, die uns zur Verfügung standen. Wetter und Wassertemperaturen waren Ende Oktober noch perfekt. Das Haus ist hell und geräumig und wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto, hat aber die Möglichkeit, viele Ausflugsziele (Mykene, Epidauros, Nafplio) innerhalb kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Einkaufmöglichkeiten gibt es im 5 Fahrminuten entfernten Ort Kiveri. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die tolle Bäckerei dort. Bill und seine Tochter sind äußerst freundliche Gastgeber, die immer sehr gut erreichbar waren und uns viele nützliche Tipps gegeben haben.

Bill and Elaine were excellent hosts! Elaine made sure that we had local recommendations and directions to the cottage (I told my husband that chatting with Elaine over Whats App felt like I was talking to a friend). Bill met us at the place and was so friendly and made up feel right at home. The views are more breathtaking in person! Thank you Elaine and Bill for opening up your cottage so we could enjoy one of the most beautiful places we have been to!
