We just spent a wonderful week at Steve's place over New Year. The house is in a lovely quiet location near the beach and has everything you could need for a great stay. Although we were prepared for a digital detox we had great phone reception and wifi. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean and tidy. Kitchen had loads of crockery, glassware and gadgets, although it's good to know that there is a bench top oven rather than a full oven. I would highly recommend Steve's place for a family getaway and hope we get an opportunity to return some day.

We had a great time at this house. It is a very close walk to the beach and you can hear the waves often. It’s in a quiet spot, so you can really drop out. The house had everything we needed, and many small touches we appreciated - like baking paper, cling wrap etc. It was very clean and the beds quite comfy. We were bitten by a lot of mosquitoes the first night and bought some spray and kept the doors shut very tightly from therein. No problems after that. Lovely place.

Excellent location for the beach 5 min walk. Is ten min drive from town though. Deck upstairs was great, well protected from heat,wind,rain! Great bbq and Webber on the deck with a big dining table, we ate out there everyday. 100’s of dvds, kids loved that. Internet is terrible but that’s in the description. Saying that we all enjoyed putting our phones away for a bit. Lots of knickknacks around the place. Excellent wood fire!

Good location near Beach 5, comfortable house with everything you need for a quiet getaway.
