Had a great stay and they were very friendly & even invited me to a birthday celebration they were having.
Jacqui is a fantastic host. Very helpful. Super friendly. There was a fire when i arrived to warm up. It was a bit of a rainy day. The place is magical. I very much recommend to others. Thank you. Until next time. Kirstin
Exceeded our expectations for an overnight stay in a place that was, as we had hoped, distinctive, scenic, convenient, and comfortable. Getting there was an adventure, in a good way. Thank God, it was everything a Marriott is not, except for the fact that both have very nice beds. There is a distinct and distinctive personality present here; alas, we were unable to meet Jacqui, but we certainly felt her presence!
A serene and comfortable stay! Jacqui has cultivated a unique inn experience that leaves one feeling at home and at ease. The sense of history is felt in the furnishings, photographs, and artworks. The inn’s inspiration from nature is reflected inside and outside.
I really enjoyed my stay with Jacqui, especially the porch overlooking the water. I would stay again.

I have lived on Vashon for about 33 years now and am still finding new places to explore.. A Jacqui of many trades, my primary work in the last 14 years has been home-care. I add to that a mix of : leading wilderness trail crew programs with teens, fine artist, teaching partner dance, tile installation, sweater repair (the latest addition), energy healing......I love music.....love dance of all kinds....love being outdoors working or playing. Being a home caregiver has developed my skill of unobtrusive presence. I am sensitive to others needs and know when to make myself scarce, but am very capable of engaging and assisting when desired and needed.
