The Aegean Blue property is located on the volcanic side of Lesvos and sits on the cliff edge of Podaras beach, overlooking the Aegean Sea. With spectacular rock formations, natural water sources, breathtakingly beautiful beaches and some incredible nature walks, it really is the perfectly secluded spot.
Although Podaras beach never gets busy, its funky little cantina (open in July and August) is a wonderfully lively place to relax, eat, listen to music and watch the sunsets.
Close by is the fishing village of Tavari with its harbour and wide selection of local tavernas, cafes and bars.
The beautiful Mesotopos village is a little further up the mountains, offering shopping facilities and a true taste of vanishing traditional Greece with its leafy square and local kafeneios.
Then there is the more vibrant beach resort of Eressos which is just a 25 minute drive away. This is the place to go for lively bars, watersports, a fantastic outdoor cinema and multitude of local gift and clothes shops.

Podaras beach is a two minute walk from the Aegean Blue property down a steep set of steps. From here, you can explore the beautiful local farmland, mountain range and countryside.
Although the fishing village of Tavari is just a 15 minute walk away along the coast, the secluded nature of the Aegean Blue property means that car hire is advisable.
However, if you would prefer not to drive on your holiday retreat, we can arrange airport transfers for you and help out with things like shopping and trips down to Tavari. All you need to do is ask!
