Amazing the most relaxing place

We had a wonderful stay at Anthony's mountain home. It looks just like the photos. The beds are very comfortable, the views are amazing, and there were great amenities like a foosball table, a massage chair, and lots of kitchen appliances. The location was a good jumping-off point for exploring the Santa Fe National Forest, the Valles Caldera National Preserve, and the Bandelier National Monument--close to pleasant hikes with breathtaking scenery. Anthony was extremely responsive both before and during our stay. Based on an earlier review, I was a little worried about navigating the dirt road on the final mile up to the house, but we had no problems, even after light snowfall during our stay. The road is steep in places, but it is in good condition, and we were able to come and go even though our vehicle is not 4WD. All in all, it was a fantastic trip, and I highly recommend Anthony's place.

We spent 2 weeks at Anthony's place and absolutely loved it. It's like living in a very interesting museum. My husband and I were both working online while there and enjoyed perusing the collection of art and artifacts during breaks. And the internet was up to the task of two people teaching via zoom at the same time. The deck has wonderful mountain views, star filled skies, and sunrise over the forests, along with a gas fireplace that puts out enough heat to be like sitting by a campfire. If you like outdoor sports, then the location is great - lots of hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking within about 45 minutes. The only proviso I would mention is that the approach road from the highway to the house is a "real" mountain road. If you have no experience on steep, narrow dirt roads, or your vehicle has bald tires, this might not be the location for you. But if are used to mountain roads, then you will also appreciate finding a fully equipped, beautiful modern home at the top of it!

Absolutely beautiful home in beautiful surroundings. Quiet secluded getaway. Home is full of interesting objects collected by the owner over what must be many years. Would not recommend for couples with very young children as many items are irreplaceable and fragile but it makes for a lovely experience. "Its like a museum!" said one of my teenagers. :) Lots of cooking equipment for those intending to stay in. Host is very communicative, kind and responded quickly to the one issue we had (a clogged toilet). Location is fantastic, especially for those wanting to fly fish or just visit all of the hiking and warm springs offered in the Santa Fe National Forest area.

This is a fantastic house located in a beautiful secluded area. You will not be disappointed with the large kitchen, bathrooms, spacious interior, and most importantly the deck! You'll want to spend lots of time enjoying the weather and the views from the comfortable chairs or loungers. We felt very comfortable here and had no issues.
