Its not often that you actually feel like you get what you paid for and that the place exceeds expectations. I almost didn't want to give Langton Hall a good review because I want to keep it all for myself, it was such an amazing weekend. The place is clean, set within beautiful grounds and feels suitably grand while not making you afraid to sit on a chair for fear of breaking a priceless antique. Check-in and communication was fast, clear and abundant. The kitchen is the best stocked of any airbnb I have been to in recent memory, and there was fancy feeling cutlery and dishes, which is such a nice change from the standard Ikea stuff you get everywhere. Every one of our guests were wowed by the place and are already talking about renting out both wings with an even bigger group in the future. In summary, you actually get what you pay for here, its not cheap, but not outrageously expensive and everything suited exactly that.

What a fantastic place to stay. It felt like we were going back in time to a different era of country house living, yet having all mod cons and comforts. Huge rooms, lovely bathrooms and a warm, welcoming host. What's not to love? It's the perfect place for a family get together.

The Langton hall is an exceptional place to stay for a family holiday! We had a group of 9 and everyone enjoyed their stay. It's extremely spacious. The place is kept very clean. The kitchen has sufficient cooking appliances. We went on nice walks outside Langton hall with great sceneries. The only thing to say is the wifi is not the best in many rooms of the house, might be because of the size of the place! Nevertheless we enjoyed our time with some internet free family time, and would want to come back again for another stay soon!

Wonderful stately home with vast amounts of space and facilities that cover everything. We couldn't fault our trip and enjoyed cooking in the large and well kitted kitchen, sitting by the open fire in the lounge or dining room. The bedrooms were excellent - the one downstairs has a little walk to the bathroom vs. the upstairs rooms but guests didnt mind. Unfortunately for our NYE break it rained continuous so we had to drive to the local pub, otherwise the 45 min stroll to the Pub would have been welcomed. Hosts were excellent and information was clear. We didnt use the honesty Pub - its far more than a bar, but we enjoyed the badminton and snooker room.

We stayed at Langton Hall to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with family and friends. We could not have chosen a better venue. There was plenty of room for us all and all the rooms were fabulous. The kitchen with its seating area was perfect for us to all be together while preparing food and for those wanting a bit of peace and quiet the lounge was ideal. We used the dining room when we all ate together - what an experience. All our guests commented on how fabulous the house was. Everything was provided - the house was wonderfully equipped. Ellie replied to all my queries before our arrival very quickly and when I had a query during our stay she responded straight away then too I definitely hope to stay again in the future - this is a fabulous place to stay with lots of space for larger parties
