We really enjoyed staying at Dawn’s lodge. It was very quiet, peaceful, comfortable and cosy. Dawn was lovely, very welcoming and friendly. She told us all about her animals and local places to visit. We loved all the animals and were able to interact with them during our stay which was great. Thank you Dawn.

Loved our stay at Dawns property. Like being at your own petting zoo with the animals literally right on the doorstep, learnt all their names by the first morning. We both grew particularly fond of Penelope 😅 Inside the property had everything you needed for a relaxing stay, was clean and beds were comfortable. Loved the little hamper provided! I didn’t make use of the hot tub personally but our other guests did and they loved it. Dawn is a fantastic host, on hand almost instantly for any questions we had and had some lovely chats with her in the mornings. Will definitely be staying here again when we visit family!

Dawn responses to my email's was quick and very polite. she made contact in the mornings to ask for fresh eggs. made to feel welcome. and at home. thanks for the stay

A very lovely, easy-going, self-contained, peaceful stay. The accommodation is on small farm which serves as your very own petting zoo. We visited with our 2 year old, she absolutely loved all the animals, out of every window she could see a different animal. Waving to the animals from the hot-tub was her highlight. A truly lovely get away.

What a fantastic find! Family of four and we were very comfortable and all of us really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was a hit with us all, hubby loved the fishing lake and the kids loved the animals (a special shout out to John the alpaca!) Dawn was a great host and nothing was too much. Freshly laid eggs for breakfast was a welcome treat. We have already booked to come again. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️
