It was far from downtown, but living there didn't have a big problem. There were two big supermarkets nearby, and there were no problems with two buses running back and forth. Not being soundproof could be a big problem for someone. However, Mark was very friendly and made me forget about other weaknesses. Many trail courses nearby are also an advantage. It is a good choice for travelers who don't need much in their accommodation.

Nice place in a peaceful nabourhood in beautiful nature-surroundings. Super-friendly and helpful host as well! May fit better for shorter stays than really long ones due to limited washing and cooking facilities.

The host was great and communicative! This is a basic basement suite with a half kitchen. Easy bus access to UBC and Kerrisdale.

The accommodation is attached to the main house, and the main entrance is through a side door and fence. The location is also quite far from downtown, about 25-30 minutes by car, and is in a suburban neighborhood. The provided amenities are basic, and there are post-checkout instructions to clean-up and strip sheets yourself.
