Our stay at rock house was wonderful! It was an excellent location. A very clean apartment with lots of character. We loved the view! Sasha was lovely to work with. He answered questions quickly and was very helpful. We will absolutely come back next time we are in Salzburg!

Great place with a view. Not far from on all the sites. I didn’t read the description close and the place is up 5 flights of stairs. I’m fit and young but my parents are near 70 with health issues so we ended up planning our day around only one trip down and up a day. I reread the post and it was there the entire time but this wasn’t a factor I was used to considering since I never travel with my parents. Great place. The second main bedroom has no door to the common area but this was not a problem at all.

Place was nice, clean, and exactly what we needed. The rooftop access was icing on the cake for great sunset views and morning coffee views. Pretty close to the bus and the city was pretty easily walkable.

We loved the location. The rooftop patio with such a beautiful view of the fortress is a great perk. Really enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again.

Amazing location! Beautiful building literally built into mountain (exposed rock in open spaces). Breathtaking view of river and castle from the rooftop deck - especially at night with the lights. Quiet street with delicious food - two restaurants had our two best meals during our 16-day journey across Bavaria and Austria. Location also close to Mozartsteg with easy access across the River to old town. Parking was the only downside. Parking is not included and expensive (all our other Airbnbs had included parking). There are 3 options (one of which is free but it is at a hotel that is a 15 minute drive and requires taxi or bus to get car). We were told daily parking was €25 but was actually €44. Overall, very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again (especially as the next time to the area will be train travel!).
