We were in the area for a medical appointment. Our “home“ at Barbara and Fritz’s was shelter in the storm. Getting to know these two warm, welcoming, and life – loving people was an absolute joy! The place was immaculately clean, incredibly homey and comfortable, and absolutely everything we could think of that we might need was there to be found. Their devotion to their guests’ comfort and convenience was evident everywhere. Although a good portion of our stay was rainy, the balcony was a beautiful and protected setting, surrounded with the beautiful trees and plants in their backyard and the neighborhood. The owners live on the first floor and were very respectful with the volume of their TV and voices. The drinks and snacks provided were greatly appreciated during this stressful time. The neighborhood has multiple restaurant, coffee, bakery choices, a terrific grocery with a salad bar and anything else you could want. Fritz and Barbara, were responsive, friendly and kind!

Barbara and Fritz's place was wonderful. So warm and inviting and the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay. It was a nice surprise to have snacks, bottled water, coffee bar and even a bottle of wine. We were busy with wedding/family activities and coming back to this great place to relax/sleep was perfect! Lovely neighborhood and home. I highly recommend staying with Barbara and Fritz's home. I would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Milwaukee.

A great private apartment with lots of sweet, homey Milwaukee-esque touches (I have local relatives and say that with love). Fritz and Barbara were accessible and helpful and accommodating of our odd hours during the weekend. The nearby retail area is a short 10 minute walk and has lots of local famous favorites (folks in other parts of town had heard of the bakery and coffee shop). Would stay there again and recommend to friends.

We continue to return to Barbara and Fritz’s place for too many reasons to mention. It is our home away from home and we love the experience they offer in this Airbnb. Thank you, again, Barb & Fritz, for the welcoming and comfortable accommodations! See you again!
