The village of Punta Križa is situated in the peninsula of Punta Križa in the southern part of island Cres. Nowhere like here, you will find the jagged coast, made up of coves and promontories with a pearly blue sea, home to one of the largest dolphin colonies in the Adriatic, about 150 individuals. The sea is rich in fish species as well.
The Punta Križa views are typically Mediterranean with dense conifer and coastal pine forests and green meadows once intensively used for grazing sheep. Lush vegetation favoured the development and abundance of wild animals such as pheasants, rabbits, wild ducks, but also fallow deers, that you can see hiking on many marked paths.
