This is the second time I’ve stayed with Sean, and I love it at his place. It’s quiet, peaceful, an easy walk to the beach. There’s a nice outdoor area, and Sean and his mother (whom I happened to meet) are super kind and friendly. I love staying on the Avenues in Redondo, and Sean’s is the most reasonably priced place there, along with having great amenities. I look forward to staying with him again!

Sean’s was fairly priced if actually as presented. Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing and due to a mildew problem left me with lasting breathing issues. When I got to the rental at night the until was unlocked and pushed open which made me uncomfortable but no way to sort it out as Sean’s away message indicated he was unavailable until morning. When I got into the unit it had a plug in air freshener on and was overwhelming. It was late so I went to bed. The next morning I took out the plugin and within minutes discovered it was covering a terrible mildew smell. I had a series of important appointments and couldn’t address the issue. With one tiny tiny tin cup as a coffee cup I made a cup of coffee with the keurig that I had to hold down to get to work. When I returned that evening with the plugin out all day the mildew was overwhelming. I quickly discovered damp dirty sandy beach things in a closet and wood rot near the door. I have been to medical twice since my stay.

We have stayed in many vacation rentals with various companies. We have never had any issues, as we choose carefully mainly based on reviews, superhost status and pictures. That is why we chose this property. The location is great! Willing to pay the price, if the property presents in person as it does in the criteria I stated above. This property is not professionally cleaned and doesn’t warrant the fee amount, with the condition (I ended up taking photos of), stain on clean wash clothe, dust, long hair with oily substance on kitchen counter, mold on grout & shower curtain, dirty microwave…among a couple other items and non working pin pad for entry gate during stay. We only slept there and showered, it was an 18 hour stay and our time was spent away with our family. I politely shared my concerns with the Superhost prior to this review and contacting air bnb customer service, but he must not care. No response. He has great reviews, so just know these honest facts in advance. Thank U.

Wonderful, quiet, super fun bungalow! Really peaceful. Thanks for a great long weekend! Can’t wait to return in the summer and use some some of that fun beach equipment you have available!
