Our family stayed at Claire's lovely house for 3 days at Christmas. The house had Christmas decorations and there were even chocolates on the tree for my Grandchildren. The whole place was spotless and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Thanks for helping make this such a special Christmas.

This could have been a glowing review because the house has all the potential of being a great stay- especially the generously stocked kitchen and comfortable first floor. For us however, it was very disappointing with unnecessary stress. We booked at the last minute as a family member is ill and needed support. We tried to use the showers - family bathroom shower- no pressure, ensuite shower - no hot water, lower ground shower- radiators weren't working. I contacted the owner by text and email twice and it took her over 12 hours to get back to me,. Claire clearly knows about the problem with the showers and should either do something about them or not market the house promising three bathrooms. Claire explained that the thermostat had to be turned up to heat the lower floor but by then it was too late for us to enjoy the cinema room, or have a comfortable shower. I know fuel charges are at a premium but feel the that the owner could have turned the thermostat up for our arrival. I asked for a discounts compensation , and Claire offered £75 which I felt was the least she could do. What a pity - if Claire sorted the plumbing she would have a winner.

Granic Mews is everything you would expect from a quality property managed by a private super host. Claire made life easy by responding quickly and making access straight forward. The property exceeds its listing, by being exceptionally clean, well appointed and full of those extra touches that make staying away from home cosy and comfortable. Big rooms, comfortable furniture, beds and a secluded patio which was a joy to sit out on to enjoy a late afternoon drink and reflect on the days activities. The Cinema room is awesome - popcorn, movies and family time the hardest bit was agreeing on the evenings entertainment. The location is ideal for experiencing the wonderful Yorkshire countryside or jumping on a train to visit Leeds and beyond. A walk along the canal to Saltaire is a must, you can always catch a train back to Bingley! We took our two teenage Grandchildren who raved about the property and how comfortable they felt. A big thank you to Claire for making all of us welcome and the ease of communication. Yes - we will return

Claire was a fantastic host. Communication was super throughout the whole process. The house is lovely and spacious and great for the whole family plus extras. The 4th bedroom has a small single which was fantastic for our toddler. A hidden gem in the Yorkshire dales.
