The cartlodge has been recently built and furnished to a very high standard: it is a first floor detached self-catering annexe with a double bedroom (or alternatively two twin beds), en-suite bathroom, open plan seating area with double sofa bed, dining area and a fully fitted kitchen offering a very light and airy space to enjoy in the Lincolnshire Wolds. The accommodation consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with lovely views to the open fields. The fully-fitted kitchen has every facility one could possibly require: complete with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. The bedroom has either a double bed or two twin beds with a beautifully appointed en- suite bathroom with full length bath and power shower. All bedding and towels are provided. The sitting area has a double sofabed, large flat screen TV, Bluetooth sound bar and radio. In addition, there is a washing machine/tumble dryer, full central heating, free Wifi, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. There is free private parking and guest access via a private entrance. There are 14 quite shallow steps to the accommodation which may restrict access.

My husband and I had a wonderful 1 month stay at Jo's place and we highly recommend this airbnb to anyone visiting the area for a short or long term stay. Both of us work remotely and the flat was very well equipped for a comfortable and serene place to be based. Warm and cosy, we felt very much at home! Jo was extremely responsive, attentive and very helpful on all queries. James provided us with some lovely walking routes - some of the best we've ever been on! We had some issues with the WiFi at the start, but after moving the router, we got up to 10-15 mbps.

Our experience at the Cartlodge has exceeded all of our expectations. The property itself is excellent and has everything you need for either a short or longer stay. The hosts, Jo and James, are extremely friendly and welcoming and are genuinely lovely people. The property is located in a small, picturesque village which is surrounded by beautiful countryside/farmland with lots of great walks. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing to escape the stress of city life, the Cartlodge is perfect. We 100% recommend and couldn’t be happier that we chose to stay here.

I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Jo-Ann's place in Thorseway. The place was beautifully decorated, comfortable, excellent kitchen, comfy bed, everything I needed! The surroundings were incredible too, plenty of walks and peace and quiet!
