This is a special place! When I booked this I had no idea how fantastic it would be. It’s a grand Italian villa with well kept flowering landscaping, winding paths, pool, grand main house and very comfortable accommodations. I highly recommend the dinner service; delicious regional food served on the lawn and the limoncello made from lemons grown on the property was a special treat. After dinner don’t miss the fireflies in the woods past the pool, they are magical. I also did not realize the host would be on site. He was very gracious and accommodating, from area recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to local travel and calling taxi’s for us. One night late we were stuck in Luca with no taxi service….he drove 20 minutes to pick us up!!! Ignacio is the perfect European gentleman. The Airbnb listing does not do this place justice you will be so pleasantly surprised if you stay here.

Een prachtig huis met bijgebouwen liggend in een zeer goed onderhouden tuin met zwembad. Een geweldig aardige gastheer en gastvrouw. Kortom een super verblijf!

Wir haben unsere 6 Tage insgesamt sehr genossen! Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Villa/ das Grundstück ist fantastisch, insbesondere der Pool. Die Zimmer sind in Gebäuden auf dem Grundstück verteilt und - wenn man möchte- kann man gut mit anderen Gästen neue Kontakte knüpfen. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr sauber und ist relativ hellhörig. Die Küchenausstattung ist ausreichend. Je nach Wetterlage und damit quasi Zwang im Zimmer bleiben zu müssen, kann hier das zwar dekorativ sehr hübsche alte Gemäuer auf Grund der Dunkelheit und schlechtem WLan-Empfang unangenehm sein. Alleine auf Grund des Grundstückes mit Pool und guter Lage in der westlichen Toskana ist der Aufenthalt hier jedoch jedem klar zu empfehlen!

Birgo studiati is an amazing place to stay - the garden and pool are gorgeous, the dinner that was served at the Borgo during the season we were there was very friendly, Cody and delicious. The location is also nice for visiting Pisa, Lucca or going to the beach (we enjoyed very much Marina di Vecchiano). The appartement is very clean, but you get a little bit less daylight as displayed in the pictures. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot and would gladly return!
