A dream stay for our young family experiencing lake life for the first time! Michelle is an extremely responsive and prepared host. The home is situated next to only one other home that’s visible, surrounded by woods, with a beautiful view of the dock and lake - there’s a great balcony we hung out on to take in the view or spot fireflies at night. It’s a quick and easy drive to the marina to rent a pontoon boat, or into town for some amazing restaurants. The incline from the lake to the house is a bit of a workout, but we welcomed it as a way to work off all of the great food! The home was homey and clean with everything we needed and felt comfortable for both adults and kids (aka nothing too fancy or breakable, a gated spiral staircase to the lower level, and a cute coloring table to show kids are clearly welcome here). We absolutely hope to return again next year!!

Outstanding property on a beautiful lake! Huge backyard, a bit of a steep climb, but wonderfully appointed with water sport equipment, a nice floating dock, Adirondack chairs and picnic table. Multiple large back decks great for relaxing and grilling. Large great room good for entertaining, cooking, eating together. Large kitchen table that can accommodate at least eight. Three levels with bedrooms and baths on each level. Top level has a balcony that overlooks the great room with a nice sitting area. The property is about the middle of the lake on the west side almost directly across the lake from the Signal Ridge Marina which is a nice place to rent a boat. Three waterfalls on the lake (all on the west side) that are must see and you can only view from the lake. This is a high elevation lake so it does get cool at night, which is great to me. The road getting in is unpaved and a bit narrow with a steep driveway but not hard to navigate really. You feel really comfortable on property with no nearby neighbors. Great internet/wifi service at the property for those who need to stay connected. Kitchen is well appointed with all the needs to dine in which we really enjoyed, plus the nearest grocery store is in Cashiers, about 15 minutes away. Also, although Cashiers is not a big place, there are some nice eateries around with outdoor seating to take advantage of the great weather. Michelle does a fantastic job of keeping you informed and being responsive if you have needs. Easy in and out at this property. You can't beat this for a relaxing vacation on a beautiful mountain lake!

An amazing cabin that was big enough for 10 of us during Thanksgiving! The weather was cool and the fire pit by the lake was ideal for warming up and telling family stories over s’mores. We would definitely come back here again in the summer to enjoy the amenities of the lake and cabin in warmer weather. And the cabin wasn’t the only thing perfect - Michelle is an excellent host and we appreciated her checking in and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
