The Rogier's place was easily accessible from the Naarden-Bussum station which was just 5 minutes away. Because it also between Amsterdam and Utrecht, I could easily go to either direction. Just steps away from the house, there is a bus stop, which led me to the historic fortress part of Naarden which is really beautiful, in 5 minutes. There I could learn a lot about the Dutch water defence system (an UNESCO world heritage). At his house, everything is in order, clean, and easy to use. Rogier's instruction was clear too. The house is facing to a busy street, but it was quiet in the bedroom at night. It is a good place for people who do not like many tourists but want to explore things easily. Thanks, Rogier!!

This was our second stay in Rogier’s house. We loved it just as much as the first time. Clean, complete and comfortable! And very close to the town center shops, restaurants and the train station!

Great place to stay and walk around, not that far off from the train station so its easy to travel from location to location. Host were exceptional and communicative. Patient when we arrived late due to some GPS errors. Was a lovely stay would definitely want to go again.

We had a great stay here! The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the house was generally as expected from the description and reviews. We did find it quite cold (the heating wasn't great - downstairs is fine as there is a wood fire, but the heat doesn't travel/stay upstairs even with radiators on max). Another note for future guests (especially those with mobility issues) is that the stairs are very steep, with no railing on one side, and are slippery and open in design. We didn't get to meet Rogier due to checking in quite late but the home had lots of lovely touches (thank you for the chocolate!) and is in an absolutely fantastic location with amenities nearby.
