This place is magical! It's very private and I'm glad we arrived during day light. It would have been hard to find during the night. There is so much history surrounding this home so that was fun to learn and be a part of. The house was clean and had all we needed. Nina was very responsive with all our questions. I would have liked to have had a instruction book for the washer and dryer since it's so different from America but we figured it out. I would stay here again!!!! My 14 and 12 year old boys loved exploring outside and finding an old bunker!

This is such an amazing place to stay. Situated at a gorgeous chateau in beautiful surroundings, this has been one of the best airbnb I have stayed at. There is so much history oozing out of the place. Being able to sit in front of an open fire in a rustic stone environment was a treat

The is the top three - most likely numner number one - for all Airbnb’s we have stayed in! Truly EXCEPTIONAL. The devotion of Claude and Nina to this historic home is so impressive and inspiring. What an amazing team, and so so good at what they do. The refurbishing, the gardening, the search for gorgeous items, the heart put into the interior. It is another level. For all the Americans out there - it felt as if i lived inside an Anthropologie catalog! A dream come true. I hope this fabulous, historic chateau is passed down in the family for generations, the amount of work deserves many lifetimes of appreciation. If you want an magnificent, perfectly curated, serene escape from it all in the heart of the Normandie countryside - this is 100% it. Oh and the photos - don’t do any of it justice. Not a spot of Ikea in the place. A true masterpiece. We will go out of our way to return every year! Thank you Nina and Claude! Show everyone your fantastic website on Airbnb. It’s magnific!!!
