As others have said, this booking is for a private room in a hostel. It’s clean and modern, we weren’t as affected by noise as other reviewers AND we had a window so we obviously got lucky. Room was chilly but a small fan heater was provided and warmed the space up quickly. Staff weren’t super friendly but I guess you can’t have it all. Overall good location and reasonable price so would happily stay there again.

Checkin was super quick and easy!! Location was perfect for my partner and I for our first time in Queenstown and the start of our trip around the South Island! My only issue was there was no window for our room like shown in the pictures. We were only there for 2 nights so it didn’t affect us really but this may be important to others who look at booking here. Thank you!

I did not realize I was booking an upscale hostel, location was great but they never replied to my emails and had to contact Airbnb to get tel # which didn’t work!

convenient location, clean, quiet in our room. kitchen very small, inconvenient that dining/ lounge area was on a different floor

Reading a few of the very negative reviews on g00gl3 just before our arrival I must say I was a bit apprehensive about this room - especially after not getting any reply after asking for a non smoking room. I think management has changed though - cause the room was spotless clean. Yes - it doesn’t have windows and yes, it’s a bit noisy (it is a hostel in the centre of the city) but it’s location is slap bang in the middle of the city and the price is far less then a lot of the other hotels. Staff present were quite helpful and all in all we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to bring a pair of earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
