This place was well worth what we paid, which was very good price. The surroundings are beautiful!! A pond with white furniture gorgeous swans, and bridges in our backyard. Placed in the middle of green hillside surrounding the property. We felt like royalty! The place looks just like the photos so beautiful clean and comfy. And Gerard was a wonderful host with recommendations left out for us. 3 nights here was truly exactly what we needed after moving around so much. I would try this hidden gem in the town of Clonakilty called “De Barras” for a pint and live music venue in back. as well as the “Dunmore House Hotel” for breakfast/ lunch with a view on the sea side! And Cork city is a short drive away, we LOVED it so much. Try The Corner House And a cool venue / bar called Crane Lane Theater. All so fun! Thanks Gerard we loved our stay!

Gerard and Ann were amazing from the moment we landed in Cork. We will definitely be making this our local when we visit again!

We loved every minute of our stay. Second time we stayed and we will be back. We contacted Gerard and asked could we arrive at 2pm at the accommodation. There was no hassle what so ever and the place was ready. Bottle of precessco on our arrived was a lovely touch.

We enjoyed a relaxing couple of days at cottage number one. The hosts were very friendly and quick to communicate with any questions we had. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and was cosy and romantic. Will be back!
