Seaview Retreat was the all-round perfect accomodation for our 8 adults and 1 year old traveling group. The house is perfectly set up for large groups and families. Kitchen is very well equipped. House is cozy and warm. House comes with a car and made exploring Stewart island super easy! Loved the location up on the hill. Huge open yard heaps of space for kids to play. Would stay here again ❤️❤️

The view from Sandra’s home is spectacular! Andrea greeted us at the ferry and helped us to the house making sure all our questions were answered. The home was comfortable, peaceful, very clean, and well stocked. We cooked meals, sunbathed on the porch, took in the fresh, crisp air and stared at the star filled sky. We utilized the van each day, going to town to grab some groceries or to get to a track to hike. The home is outside of town so although you might not have fast WiFi for streaming the beauty of the property and the starry night sky make it totally worth every penny. Sandra picked us up at checkout to take us back to the ferry. Stewart Island and Sandra’s home felt like home away from home. We would certainly come again.
