An absolutely beautiful house, we felt very at home there and relaxed. The location is perfect, stunning views out of every window, so close to town, lots to see and do all within walking distance. The house was very clean, all the rooms are so beautiful. It was perfect for our gathering of friends and family, wish we could have stayed longer. Geraldine was very quick with her replies and so very helpful and ready with lots of information when needed. Tanya met us when we arrived and again, so helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in Geraldines place for one night recently to celebrate a 50th birthday. The house is just fabulous and the description doesn't do it justice. It comfortably slept 23 of us in 10 stunning bedrooms. Ample room around the rest of the house for any kind of occasion with plenty of areas to sit, chill out, eat and really cosy for such a big house with a wood burning stove already lit for us when we got there. We ordered food from Sidewalk Catering who we had seen mentioned in other reviews of Geraldines place and they were great to deal with. The food was delicious too. Communication was great leading up to check in. Tanya met us on the day and walked us through everything we needed to know and then left us to it. She was extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. Thanks for everything Tanya if you see this ! Overall I would HIGHLY recommend Highfield House for any gathering. Gorgeous house in a gorgeous setting, quiet and peaceful and just a short walk to town.

We had a great stay at Geraldine’s for a work retreat. We were really impressed with the house and especially how cozy they had made it for our arrival - including gorgeous Christmas decorations. House had everything we needed - 10/10
