We enjoyed Nancy’s place by the water, it was peaceful on the grounds and her unit is right by the water which we loved. The place was well equipped and comfortable. A few things to note. There is quite a bit of noise from planes with the airport very close, noise late into the night from other units ( this is a large complex of apt/condo units), a few things were not working like the tv and front door was broke. We did reach out regarding these issues the next morning after we checked in, Nancy did offer to fix the tv but we said we were okay without, she didn’t say anything about fixing the door, and regarding the planes she said no one else has complained before. the plane noise should have been disclosed in listing. The host told us to complain to security about tenant noise. What upset us the most was the housekeeper tried to get in the unit a full hour before checkout. It was awkward and rude. we texted Nancy after checking out, she never responded nor did she apologize.

We loved the area and the fact that Fish Haul beach was steps away. It was convenient to everything we needed. We would definitely stay again if there is availability our next trip.

Our family of 6 had a very nice 5 night stay at Tranquility by the Beach. Its obvious the condo is a rental, but it was clean and fresh looking and decorated as you'd imagine a beach condo would be. We had an issue with an old, dirty shower curtain; however the host was quick to respond and get it changed out for us and promised a talk with the cleaning company. pros-location was beautiful, very easy access to quiet/calm beach on the sound & complex's amenities, host was responsive&informative, loved enclosed porch & having in-unit washer/dryer, lots of kitchen amenities available cons-listing needs attn; old couch (listed as futon) is still pictured and current couch does not pull out. We made it work with our 6 and 9 yr olds on it thanks to chaise, but if you have older kids there will likely not be sufficient sleep space for 6 (great for 4). Also, I only knew to expect $20 parking pass PRIOR TO booking due to reading previous reviews. bring your own liquid dish soap & laundry det.

Overall a nice place. Mold on the shower curtain was a bit off-putting and windows haven't been cleaned in a while. Comfortable and well stocked with the basics except coffee. We did have to replace dead batteries in both TV remotes.
