Setting was beautiful and peaceful. Even more private than we expected--it's the only home on the cul de sac. The cabin is very comfortable and attractive inside and outside. Was sort of difficult finding the path from the house to the main hiking trail, though (which wasn't the owner's fault or responsibility, so this is not a knock against her). Just a very short drive to the main trailhead and to the little store/restaurant. The cabin was very well stocked with supplies, games, books, kitchen items, etc. Even had snowshoes and bug spray. Communication with the owner prior to the stay was excellent-very responsive and accommodating. Everything went smoothly, so had no need to communicate during the stay. Very enjoyable stay, and will definitely stay again!

The place was exactly as described/pictured and lovely in every way. Perfect for a little getaway with our GSP who loved exploring the surrounding area! Kitchen was stocked with spices, oils, pasta, coffee/ea, etc. We really loved the great views, especially waking up to the snow glistening in the sun the morning after our arrival—absolutely priceless!

My husband and I (+ our dog!) had a wonderful stay at Sara’s cabin. It felt very cozy, peaceful, and private. You have everything you need and more. It truly felt like a home rather than just a rental— hence the cozy vibes! Loved all the fires in the wood stove and sleeping in the top nook of the cabin :) Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place is TRULY a gem and you know it before you walk in. It's simply gorgeous and filled with such thoughtful detail. I could live here. So romantic. Location wise, it is walking distance (or a short drive) from so many incredible hikes. Also, a PERFECT place to bring your pups -- Sara has everything you would ever need for them stocked up. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Word to the wise: if you are not already familiar with how to work a standard woodstove and are the anxious type, watch some videos and read up on it before you get there. The second the sun disappears, the temperature starts dropping QUICK -- the fire takes a couple of hours to really start warming up the place, so you don't wanna be fiddling around trying to figure out how to get it going if you don't have experience. I'd also suggest bringing some fire starter to make your life easier!
