The Teak Villa is large and comfortable. It is located within a beautifully landscaped private compound along with a few other villas. Communication was excellent leading up to the trip and during our stay. There is a small private pool to sit in on a hot day and a larger shared pool. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, utensils etc but it should be noted there are no food stuffs one would typically find such as salt, pepper, oil or coffee. Plan accordingly. Also TV is limited to basic cable. These are not gripes, just worth noting so future guests can plan accordingly. My only gripe is that the cleaning staff was still preparing the villa until 7pm the day of our arrival at which point we sent them home. I know with Covid a lot of extra sanitizing is necessary, but having unmasked staff in the house negates any sanitizing they may be doing. We were eager to settle in but found that hard without sheets or towels available to us. The host apologized which was appreciated but we felt more could have been done to offset the inconvenience of losing a day in the house. Hopefully this is not a common occurrence and we were just unlucky.
