Our Peaceful Pine Tiny House was built over the winter of 2018/2019. It is 240 square feet plus an 84 square foot loft. It is nestled in the pines yet only 100 yards from our home. The location is within an easy distance to hiking trails, soccer fields, canoeing, snowmobile trails, shopping, swimming, skiing, and golfing. You can also just sit around the fire circle! For a small fee there is a wood fired sauna, snow shoes are available by special request. Some amenities include: Very comfortable full size mattress on the floor in the loft. A very comfortable full size futon on the main floor. Shower with great quality towels. Kitchen with a microwave, mini refrigerator, oven, toaster and coffee maker. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and spices and vegetable oil. Campfire circle. Snowshoes and sleds are available for rent in the winter. Sauna may be available upon special request. Peaceful Pines is air conditioned in the summer and heated with electric fireplace in the winter.

I will absolutely stay here again. I've been to many small AirBNBs like this around Michigan, and this may be the best. It has everything you could want, its a perfect location, private but close to things to do, and it was an absolute pleasure to stay in. I have zero complaints. Pam is awesome, and I cant reccomend the stay enough.
Staying at Pam’s Airbnb for 3 nights was wonderful! The tiny cabin was cozy and perfect room for 2. Pam was very friendly and welcomed us with open arms along with her doggo Otis. Pam helped us with directions for hikes and precaution against wildlife we may encounter on the trails. Very helpful! The cabin itself was clean and cozy. Everything was as it looked in the pictures. We forgot to fill out the guest book on the table, but know if ever in the area again, I will book Pam’s tiny home! Thanks again!
This was our second time staying on Pam's property (1st time at Peaceful Pines though). the cabin was cozy and clean, and comfortable. The hosts are responsive and available for any questions. They are very friendly, it's a joy catching them for a chat. The property is beautiful and peaceful. It fit our needs well and we were definitely happy with our stay. we'd certainly stay again!
Pam and Doug are the loveliest airbnb hosts I have ever met! The Tiny House is beautifully made and super comfy. It’s the perfect place to relax and very close to downtown Petoskey! I can’t wait to return to walk the trails and explore more of this lovely area.
The stay was extremely pleasant overall. Pam is an amazing host, very friendly and super nice! Place looked great when we got there, instructions were clear, and inside was nice and up to date. Also property was beautiful

Other activities include Little Traverse Wheelway for biking or a visit to Bay Harbor, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, Walloon Lake, Lake Charlevoix, Mackinac Island.
This makes the location excellent for people with a variety of interests!
It is best to drive a car here although a taxi service could pick you up at the bus station.
Your GPS will take you to the end of Click Road where you will see the pink and blue plastic garbage cans. Take the driveway to the right of the garbage cans.
Once on the property, follow the signs to Peaceful Pines.

Currently I teach music privately, run QuickBooks for my husband's tree business and promote healthy vitamins. I taught music and movement for 31 years in the public school setting. People and music are really important to me so one thing that I enjoy doing is hanging out around the campfire to share stories and jam! We love to travel. We went to New Zealand again to visit my daughter and son-in-law and we just returned from serving an orphanage in Guatemala. I have discovered the joy of growing a vegetable garden and canning the produce.
