What a beautiful place, even better than the pictures. From the views and hikes to the colouring books, there is nothing Hannere didn't think of. And it's even better that it's pet friendly. My dog loved the hikes and the fireplace. I will definitely be back.

Incredible! The cottage was very well equipped, squeaky clean and full of thoughtful touches, and the reserve itself is beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful with great walks and lots of interesting information provided about the biodiversity of the area. Hanneré and co have created something very special that shows it’s possible to be comfortable and also we’ll integrated into the environment. Can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful, super clean cottage – very private, surrounded by nature and properly fenced for pets. Thank you for allowing our pets to stay over! Hannere is very friendly and a thoughtful host. Honestly if I could give 6 stars I would! So many thoughtful extras, Magnums in the freezer, sparkling wine in the fridge, an incredibly well stocked kitchen, sharp knives, quality equipment and linen. Even doggie treats… We highly recommend this jewel and would visit again any time.

We had a fantastic stay at the Almond Blossom Cottage. Everything was superbly set up for a comfortable self-catering experience (the kitchen is really very well equipped) and the house and the location exceeded our expectations. The TV and sound system were a nice bonus, but chances are you’ll enjoy sitting on the veranda listening to the bird song even more. We’re very grateful that our two doggies could also share the space and experience with us :)

A truly heavenly little gem! Almond Blossom Cottage really is the most amazingly and lovingly appointed little secluded cottage, with lots of quirky decor, books and DVDs that'll keep you busy for days, a kitchen that is fully equipped for whipping up a great meal, a fantastic little heated pool, and a fireplace for cozy evenings. Thank you for the thoughtful extras too - we had a wonderfully relaxing silver wedding anniversary weekend! (PS The Tortoise Trail offered amazing views - a bit more of a climb than we'd anticipated, but so worth it. Will have to come back to do the second trail!) (PPS The photos don't do it justice by half!)
