Avant de louer ce logement assurez vous que l'entretient de la fosse septique est faite et qu'il n'y a pas d'odeur d'égout. Que la connection internet fonctionne en tout temps, qu'il y a de l'eau en tout temps et de l'eau chaude en tout temps. j'avais réservé pour 4 mois mais du quitter après 4 semaines car rien ne s'arrangeait. merci a Airbnb de m'avoir aidé a quitter cet endroit. Je voyage depuis des années a travers le monde et c'est la première fois que je vis une telle situation. "A bon entendeur salut" comme dit l'adage.

I have delayed writing this review in order to give the owners a chance to correct the inaccuracies in the website description, and I see now that there appear to be no references to the right to use the pool. In the description which we read there were no fewer than four references to the use of the pool which we discovered on arrival we were not to be given access to. However, there are plenty of inaccuracies which remain and the most egregious of those is the description of the sleeping arrangements. Quite absurdly the website suggests that there is a bedroom with no fewer than three different beds available and two more in the so-called living room. In fact, the place is so tiny that it is an embarrassment to have even the single sofa bed which was there in addition to the fixed bed because one needs every inch of floor space in order to be able to function and find a place to put one's suitcases. The sofa bed might have been useful as a couch on which to watch the television, but there is a pillar in the room right in front of the television that makes that impossible. The website boasts about the presence of a washing machine which ought to be discarded in order to provide more space in the room since the owners have a separate laundry which we used; it also has a dryer which is not available in the "cottage". The shower and toilet are minuscule and do not have a door, just a curtain, so that privacy is at a minimum. The surroundings are very attractive and with a car it is possible to get into the nearby town of Atenas in 10 minutes or less. The place is suitable for a young couple who are used to backpacking or camping but it is not suitable for octogenarians.

Guida and John were like angels to me - they go out of their way to take very good care of the guests. Everything I needed, they had a solution! They have a lot of contacts with the locals and can be great help to first time tourists. Their cabin is on top of the majestic mountain - the view is phenomenal. Their dog is also really great and comes to greet me every morning. I saw other animals - lots of birds and a beautiful white horse that lives right next to the house. The weather is super nice at Atenas - no AC needed :)

You will not find a better place to stay, or a more gracious & helpful hostess, in all of Atenas. The cottage is impeccably clean with everything you need for even a long stay (we stayed 1 month) and the bed is super comfy. Perfect cool weather and amazing views from the wall of sliding glass doors. Close and convenient to everything the Central Valley has to offer. We can't say enough about Guida and her husband John. They are a fascinating world-travelled couple and provide outstanding customer service. We will definitely be back!

Expérience exceptionnelle, tout est parfait! Ce fut 38 jours de pure bonheur d'être dans cet environ. Les hôtes sont des gens très accueillants, toujours de bons conseils et donne de bonnes adresses. L'environnement de la demeure est d'une beauté et très bien entretenu. Les hôtes sont toujours présents si vous avez des questions ou vous conseillent sur les endroits à découvrir. Endroit que je réfère fortement et sans hésitation. Rien de négatif à dire. Je n'ai pas assez de mots pour décrire tout le côté positif de mon séjour sauf allez-y!
