One acre nestled cosily under the head of the majestic Benbulben mountain you will find Rose Cottage and gardens. Located within 10 mins drive of the bustling Sligo town and no more than 5 minutes drive to beautiful Rosses Point, home to one of Ireland's top beaches, a Championship Golf Course and a number of award-winning cafés and restaurants. The house is located on a quiet country road, perfect for an evening stroll or a cycle to the secluded Lower Rosses beach which is just 2km away Rose Cottage is a cosy, comfortable, extremely baby/toddler friendly home with extensive private gardens with several seats and benches located throughout, perfect to sit, relax, read a book and take in all the sounds and smells of the Sligo countryside. If the weather doesn't permit, don't worry, we have Netflix! Our home is 4.5km from the edge of Sligo town. Your own transport is advisable. There is Wi-Fi available which has quite good speeds during the day but can be a little slower if multiple devices are running off it. While the word 'cottage' makes the house sound small, there is in fact plenty of space to accommodate guests. (During the summer months guests can see why the house bears the name 'Rose'!) Our bungalow is made up of a kitchen and living/dining area, sitting room/TV room, study/bedroom, a twin bedroom, double bedroom and bathroom. Our home contains a wood pellet stove in the kitchen/living area which is very easy to use as well as being environmentally friendly. The rest of our home uses oil heating which is available to use depending on the weather. We have two small kids so as you can imagine our house carries all the necessary items you would possibly need for your stay including high chairs, cots(x2), delph, toys, books etc. With our house being a bungalow it is a great place to relax and not be concerned about any little ones climbing stairs!! Also our back gardens can be completely closed off with secure gates if necessary. If you are lucky enough to get a good spell of weather during your stay at Rose Cottage we provide a jungle gym, small kids paddling pools, swings, slides, GAA goals, bikes, footballs etc. Our Gardens are extremely secure for small kids with the option to completely close off the back garden if needed and the front garden is secured with automated gates for which you will be provided a key phob and code during your stay. Our kitchen contains a 5-ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Extensive gardens are to the front and rear of the property along with a small patio area if the sun comes out! Sunbeds, chairs and a table are available if you wish to eat outdoors.
